1. How do you calibrate thermal testing delta temperatures?
All liquid cooling and PC heatsink tests are conducted in a climate-controlled test chamber stabilized at 21.0°C (±0.2°C) ambient. We report Delta T over ambient using calibrated K-type thermocouples in waterblocks and intake fan paths.
2. What operating systems are tested on the HomeLab bench?
We test Proxmox VE, TrueNAS SCALE, Debian Bookworm, Alpine Linux, and NixOS with customized ZFS storage pools across both enterprise SAS3 and NVMe PCIe 4.0/5.0 backplanes.
3. Are your CAD models and firmware configurations open source?
Yes. All 3D printable brackets, Klipper macros, and shell dotfiles discussed in our engineering articles are released under MIT or GPLv3 licenses on our open repository.
4. Can I submit custom hardware or keyboards for review?
Yes. Independent makers, designers, and open-source hardware creators can transmit review requests to our hardware desk via the contact form.
